Tours & Air BnB
The Seneca Treehouse Project is a permaculture learning center dedicated to inspiration and education of sustainable development through hands-on learning, tours, retreats, and housing.
Lakeside Cabin
This is our cozy lakeside cabin.
It is a 550 square foot handcrafted studio apartment with king bed, futon, and blowup twin. In the midst of enjoying the lake, we are also happy for you to check out the rest of the project. Our goal is to provide a relaxing, inspiring, and educational experience.
Lake Home & Treehouse
A beautiful & unique home and treehouse located on Lake Hartwell, 15 minutes from both downtown Seneca and Downtown Clemson at the Seneca Treehouse Project, a learning center for sustainability. This home is perfect for large families or groups of friends to gather and play on the lake, enjoy a Clemson football weekend, or to get away and just be together. Stroll though our small permaculture food forest, snack on some seasonal fruits, and check out the other unique structures on the property.
Yurt
A lakeside educational adventure with hints of romance and play, this Yurt is nested between a geodesic dome and the outdoor kitchen at the Seneca Treehouse Project. STP is a permaculture learning center and homestead on Lake Hartwell just outside of Clemson and Seneca South Carolina. If you’re interested in learning about homesteading or just want a place to relax on the lake, this is a perfect place to visit.
STP is the home base to our parent company, Treehouse Internatural, a benefit corporation dedicated to helping each other live in harmony with our planet. Our goal is to help develop learning centers and projects around the world, while providing education and leadership training for sustainable development. Come and visit us at the Seneca Treehouse Project, and be inspired!
Permaculture is a whole systems nature-mimicry design science. We offer tours, housing, experiences, and workshops designed to show you what is possible in the world of sustainability and how a few changes can make a positive impact on both people and planet.
A tour of the Seneca Treehouse Project offers insight and inspiration for low impact, alternative design systems including housing, food production, site layout, team building, and corporate design. The tour usually takes 1 to 1.5 hours and will offer ideas and perspectives on landscaping and homesteading as well as sustainable solutions that you can implement in your own backyard, neighborhood and city. In addition to tours, small workshops are available. Please call or text 864-710-7584 to schedule a tour. We look forward to seeing you!
